Coach Succession: every age group should:
- Maintain a Deputy Lead Coach
- Build a volunteer pipeline & recruit future coaches
- Maintain a handover pack
Every outgoing Lead Coach should complete the Coach Handover Template (Appendix I) and meet their successor where practical.
Awards: every age group presents
- Player of the Year: greatest overall contribution through performance, attitude, commitment & values
- Most Improved Player: greatest development across the season
- Commitment Award: attendance, effort, reliability & positivity
Optional: Players' Player, Coaches' Award, Team Person Award. No incoming coach should start from scratch.
