Every player matters. Coaches are ambassadors for GHA and play a key role in attracting, welcoming and retaining players.
Coaches should
- Welcome enquiries and introduce families
- Promote GHA positively
- Monitor engagement and attendance
- Support retention and long-term connection
Coaches should not
- Target players from other clubs or schools
The Club supports coaches with
- Recruitment materials, videos & social content
- FAQs, marketing and retention guidance
If a player disengages or leaves
- Make appropriate contact to understand how to help
- Issue an exit survey where practical
- Record exit reasons centrally
- Welcome them back in future
