Every GHA coach plays an important role in shaping both rugby players and young people. Our coaches are expected to:

Create a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment.
Put player welfare before winning.
Develop confidence, character and resilience.
Recognise that every player is different — coach the person as well as the player.
Promote respect for teammates, opponents, officials and volunteers.
Lead by example on and off the field.
Support every player to achieve their potential.
