What coaches should do

  • Welcome enquiries
  • Invite prospective players to attend training
  • Introduce families to the Club
  • Explain the GHA pathway
  • Share approved Club materials

What coaches should not do

  • Target players from other clubs
  • Target schools
  • Promise team selection
  • Criticise alternative rugby pathways
Suggested response to an enquiry: 'Thanks for getting in touch. We would love to welcome you along to GHA. Please come along and meet the coaches and players. Rugby should be experienced before any decision is made.'
