Not every player progresses to the same level. Our responsibility is the best possible coaching, support and experience for each player's stage — success is measured by lifelong participation, not only by progression.

As players move up the age groups, the laws evolve to support development. Understand the applicable Scottish Rugby age-grade laws and seek guidance from the Director of Youth Performance when planning training or transitions.
